Our Staff

Nurse Practitioner Wendy Guest was raised in Borger, Texas but has been a long-time resident of Amarillo. She joined our practice in March of 2021.

Wendy received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from West Texas A&M University in 1999. After working as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery for 15 years, she returned to graduate school in 2017 to pursue a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University.

Outside of work, Wendy loves watching her four children grow and flourish. She is passionate about serving others and strives to be a light for Jesus. Wendy also enjoys spending time with family and friends, long walks, vacations, and reading.

Chelsey, our Registered Dietitian, was raised in Canyon, Texas and spent a number of years living in South Texas before returning to Amarillo to join Panhandle Weight Loss Center in 2020.

Chelsey received her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2011. She then attended the University of Houston to finish her dietitian coursework and internship from 2013-2015.

Chelsey is the mother to young children, and outside of work she enjoys baking, reading, good music, and traveling. She also loves playing in her family fantasy football league and cheering on the Houston Astros.

Born and raised in the Texas Panhandle, Kelly has been a certified surgical technologist for over 15 years. Kelly’s genuine care and concern for her patient contributes to her success as one of Panhandle Weight Loss Center’s Bariatric Coordinators. 

Her steadfast commitment to service is made evident, as she works with patient to direct the course of their weight loss journey. Joining the practice in June 2013, Kelly has gained extensive experience and dedication to the Center. 

Outside of work, she extends her passion for service and care, to her two treasured daughters, Abby and Ava, and loving husband, Colin.
